iglidur M260 plain bearing

Thick walled for harsh environments

iglidur M260 - extremely robust and wear-resistant on St37 shafts

The new iglidur M260 was specifically developed for use in harsh environments. Special attention was paid during development to ensure the material can be used for injection-moulded thick-walled bearings. Thus iglidur M260 is well-suited for applications in which thick-walled bushings are used or replaced, which are as robust as possible.

Thick-walled and extremely robust

For this purpose we developed the iglidur M260

The thick-walled plastic plain bearings offer hardly any advantages over thin-walled ones. The thick-walled bearings are often required, especially when replacing plain bearings made of metal with those made of plastic. Once built in, it is often difficult to use other bearing dimensions.

Therefore we offer iglidur M260 a new bearing material especially for the application as thick-walled plain bearing. In addition, the new material offers excellent wear properties, especially in combination with shafts made of St37, and is extremely tough against impact loads and vibrations.
