Technical data:

• What was needed: A series of controlled linear rails used to position and drill holes in brackets inside an aircraft.
  The rails are equipped with 4 carriages each. The 2 outer carriages are used to position and support the assembly, while the 2 inner carriages are used to either position several types of brackets or to drill holes in pre-assembled brackets.
• Requirements: The system should be lightweight, lubrication-free and compact.
• Products used: drylin® T linear rail TS-01-15 and drylin® TW-01-15-HKA carriage
• Success for the customer: Cost-effective and low-maintenance solution. The working environment is very tight, so the solution must be as small and light as possible. Since the rails are about one metre long, components are needed that are very light and at the same time very precise.
