Series 40 - chain, with crossbars every link

Separators can be arranged in any position in the chain cross-section. The standard separator part no. 401 offers secure standing ability with its wide base, even for large cables/hoses.
For applications with many small cables, which should be respectively separated from each other by a separator; the separator with narrow base Part No. 483 can be used. The separators 401 and 483 can be used both on e-chains® as well as on energy tubes from the series listed above. Also available for the applications with e-chains® (not tubes): Locking separator part. no. 404 with increased holding force. This separator is used in applications with very high humidity, e.g. in compost plants or in applications with extreme loads. Opening thee-chain® is more difficult when using the locking separator.
All separators can be moved and can be fixed in position (e.g. for side-mounted applications) by spacers (not for tubes). Note:
The available inner height is reduced by 2 mm for each spacer, which can reach 4 mm with spacers attached on both sides. To prevent this, parts can also be installed from the outside onto the opening crossbar.

With the various elements of the interior separation, the e-chains® and energy tubes can be divided both vertically and horizontally. Side plates and shelves allow a flexible separation structure. Shelves of various widths can be arranged in steps of 7mm on 7 levels. You can find recommendations for assignment in the "Design" chapter.
For installing the open height slot separators, the top and bottom slots cannot be used for shelves.

For a very finely divided solution, height slot separator Part No. 418 are used. However, these cannot be integrated into existing shelving without removingthe interior separation system The height slot separator Part No. 419, which is open on one side, can be retrofitted without removing the existing interior separation system. (Does not apply to shelves in the upper or lower-most notches)
